Everybody knows that the cuisine in Italy varies drastically from one region to the next. Plus every city and town prides itself on its local specialties. But did you know that many of those local specialities are vegan? Back before the industrial revolution, many Italians were vegan or vegetarian, simply because they couldn’t afford the luxury of meat.
La Cucina Povera features an impressive range of recipes free from meat, fish and dairy.
Enjoy a culinary tour of Italy by tasting regional vegan dishes made with healthy and natural ingredients.
