We are delighted to support the Broadway on Broad St Cabaret taking place this Wednesday, June 8th at 7:30pm at The James Ward Mansion Westfield The evening includes a set of vocal performances by local young artists. Performers include current high school students, as well as some college students. The Cabaret will also include a performance from Broad Street Players' "Heathers", which runs July 13-15 this summer at the James Ward Mansion.

If you’ve been missing us, we have got some great news for you! We have partnered with Asbury Shorts USA to bring you a one night only event at The James Ward Mansion on May 7, 2022!
Reminiscent of our Westfield Film Fest gala affairs, the presentation will include a cocktail hour with small plates and an open wine bar before presenting a line up of award winning short films.
Asbury Shorts USA, the nationally recognized touring exhibition of award winning short films, will be joining us at the ever stunning James Ward Mansion in Westfield, New Jersey on Saturday night, May 7, 2022 to present their special "40th Anniversary Asbury Short Film Concert." Combining classic short films with current global festival winners, Asbury Shorts provides a rare opportunity for attendees to view international honorees on a real cinema screen as opposed to YouTube, computers, or smartphones.
Oscar nominated director Jason Reitman (“JUNO,” “Up in the Air,” “Thank You for Smoking” “Young Adult”) calls Asbury Shorts: “The best short film show I’ve ever seen.”
WIFF contributions to the program include local films by New Jersey’s own Steven Hayet, “Keep the Music Going” and New York City’s, Jessica Michael Davis, “Escaping Ohio”.
Doors open to cocktail hour at 7pm and the films hit the screen at 8pm.

AddamsFest is proud to showcase original Charles Addams masterpieces, never before seen in Westfield, along with treasured reproductions, in a boutique exhibit generously on loan from the Tee & Charles Addams Foundation.
The exhibit will also feature the return of “Dudley,” back by popular demand. This life-sized Addams original was drawn during his Westfield childhood, and was emancipated in 2018 after spending almost a hundred years on the second floor of a barn on East Dudley Avenue.
Local student art will also be on display alongside the work of Addams. Known as “Chil” to his childhood friends, Addams’ love of art began as a student in the Westfield school district -- so it’s only fitting that his art will be accompanied by finalists from the Charles Addams Cartoon Contest, open to all Westfield area middle and high school-aged students.
Tickets for the exhibit are now available on the AddamsFest website, and on-site (cash only) during exhibit hours at The James Ward Mansion.
The suggested donation is $5-$10, and a portion will go towards the Charles Addams Fund, which provides scholarships to Westfield High School seniors pursuing a career in the arts.

Join us for a very special event on October 11 at the James Ward Mansion in Westfield. Giovanna Giusti, former Director of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, will discuss the Macchiaoli art movement and how it came to life at a challenging historical time period which precedes the birth of Italy as one united country. The movement originated with a small group of artists, many of whom had been revolutionaries in the uprising of 1848 which led to the formation of Italy as one political entity.
